From CBS New York: Cicadas set to invade the tri-state area for month long stay on April 3, 2013.  A 17 year cycle is culminating this year, with scientists expecting up to a billion cicadas per square mile.  That’s a lot of cicadas.  I have to admit, my first thought upon reading this was about insects just now hearing about the occupy wall street movement, but I dismissed it after reading an article an About.com, read it here.
