Act of July 4, 1966, Public Law 89-487, 80 STAT 250, which amended section 3 of the Administrative Procedure Act, chapter 324, of the Act of June 11, 1916, to clarify and protect the right of the public to information., 07/04/1966 (Page 3 of 3) (Photo credit: The U.S. National Archives)

In the campaign for president 2008, Barack Obama made many wonderful promises about changing the tone and nature of politics in the United States, he was to have the most transparent administration in history.  In a way he has, we can see right through him.

In a report by Bloomberg, 19 of 20 Obama officials have failed to follow the law in regards to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-28/obama-cabinet-flunks-disclosure-test-with-19-in-20-ignoring-law.html
This is the campaign that received an award for transparency behind closed doors.  Orwellian?  Some think so.
Here’s a link to an article at the Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/federal-eye/post/obama-finally-accepts-his-transparency-award-behind-closed-doors/2011/03/31/AFRplO9B_blog.html

I think this is the perfect summation of the Obama administration. Listen to Nancy:

  1. About the only thing transparent about Obama is his thin skinned, whiny personality.
