The Organization for Islamic Cooperation is pushing for International Blasphemy Laws, or an international code of conduct to criminalize criticism of Islam.

On July 26, 2012 a DOJ official refused to say whether or not they would ever in the future limit free speech.  Watch below:

HumanRights.Gov has an article from April 19, 2012 describing UN resolution UNHRC 16/18.  Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton,  invited officials from 26 countries and 4 International Organizations to discuss implementation steps.  This resolution was designed for “Combating Intolerance, Negative Stereotyping and Stigmatization of, and Discrimination, Incitement to Violence and Violence Against, Persons Based on Religion or Belief.”

Please contact your governor, representatives, and senators and let them know any push in this direction will not stand, because what good is free speech if everyone says the same thing?
